Brazilian Portuguese Premium Voices Are Here
Brazilian Portuguese joins Readox's 34 free premium voices, with word-by-word highlighting and speech that runs on your device.
Readox now reads Brazilian Portuguese with three free premium voices. That brings the total to 34 premium voices across American and British English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
Use them for articles, PDFs, selected passages, or your own pasted text. Follow along with word-by-word highlighting, change the speed, and use the same playback controls you already know. No account or subscription is required.
Try a Portuguese voice
- Install or update Readox and open the voice picker in the side panel.
- Filter by Portuguese and preview the available voices.
- Choose a voice. If this is your first premium voice, confirm Download and use.
Speech runs on your device, so your reading is not sent to a cloud voice service. Each voice downloads when you first use it. Before going offline, play your chosen voice once while connected and make sure the page or saved text is available.
Install Readox for Chrome, or see the voice setup FAQ.
